Program Application

The Practical Performance Project (P3) is a limited-capacity performance development cohort designed for individuals willing to train consistently, think critically, and engage in a structured, feedback-driven process.

P3 operates on a minimum 12-week commitment. Continuation beyond the initial term is earned through consistent execution and engagement, not guaranteed by enrollment.

Cohort size is hard-capped at 10 participants to preserve coaching quality, accountability, and meaningful interaction.

Program Structure & Deliverables

Participants accepted into P3 receive the following for the duration of their participation:

  • Strength & Conditioning Programming

    • Delivered through TrainHeroic and designed to support long-term performance development.

  • Dry Fire Programming

    • Structured dry fire work delivered through TrainHeroic, intended for consistent daily practice.

  • Weekly Live Cohort Calls (Zoom)

    • Used for participant review, reflection, education, and applied training discussion.

  • Team Communication & Coach Access

    • Ongoing discussion and questions are handled through a dedicated Discord channel for the cohort.

  • Monthly Trainings (Zoom)

    • Additional education and training provided by a registered dietitian and a certified mental performance consultant.

Time & Execution Requirements

P3 requires a meaningful time investment.

Participants should expect approximately:

  • 5+ hours per week dedicated to strength and conditioning

  • 5–15+ minutes per day, 6 days per week dedicated to dry fire practice

Programming can be adjusted to accommodate individual needs, but consistent effort is non-negotiable.

Instructional Team

P3 is delivered by a multidisciplinary coaching team:

  • Brandon Bellman, PT, DPT, MS, ATC – Physical Therapist / Athletic Trainer

  • Josh Eldridge – Practical Shooter

  • Dustin Harris, MDN, RD – Registered Dietitian

  • Bella Johnson, MS, CMPC, ATC – Certified Mental Performance Consultant / Athletic Trainer

Each contributor is responsible for instruction within their domain.

Standards of Participation

P3 is not passive.

By applying, you acknowledge that:

  • Consistent training and engagement are expected

  • Direct feedback will be provided

  • Reflection and critical thinking are part of the process

  • Participation is contingent on effort and execution

Failure to meet participation standards will result in two formal warnings.
Continued lack of execution after warnings will result in
removal from the program.

Who This Program Is & Is Not For

P3 is for:

  • Individuals willing to put in consistent effort

  • Those open to feedback and self-reflection

  • Participants who value process over novelty

P3 is not for:

  • Individuals seeking an experience, credential, or badge of participation

  • Those unwilling to examine their own assumptions or execution
